ST. PAUL, Minn. - On a cold and gloomy Homecoming at Barnes Field, it was the 2010 Golden Bear squad that defeated the CU Baseball Alumni, 2-1 on a walk-off bases loaded single by sophomore shortstop Bryan Lippincott (Johnston, Iowa), scoring freshman J.T. Schneider. Sophomore right hander Chris Peterson (St. Anthony, Minn.) was credited with the win while lefty Matt Borman (2003-04, 07) was hit with the loss. The alumni scored when assistant coach Marcus McKenzie drilled a sharp RBI single to left while the 2010 team scored their first run when Bryan Hunt popped a deep sacrifice fly to centerfield.
