May. 21 - MARSHALL, Minn. - Concordia University senior Brenden Furrow (Johnston, Iowa) became the third All-American in the last four seasons for Golden Bear baseball as the Division II sports information directors voted him to the 2010 Daktronics All-America First Team at the utility position. Furrow hit 18 home runs and drove in 70 RBI to break the CU single season records while hitting .410 playing four different positions.

Furrow and Lippincott Named to NCBWA All-Region Second Team
May. 19 - ST. PAUL, Minn. - Half of Concordia's infield was represented on another All-Region squad as the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) has selected senior Brenden Furrow (1B, Johnston, Iowa) and sophomore Bryan Lippincott (SS, Des Moines, Iowa) to the 2010 NCBWA Division II Central All-Region Team. Furrow and Lippincott Earn All-Region Honors from Two Sources
May. 13 - ST. PAUL, Minn. - Senior first baseman/outfielder Brenden Furrow (Johnston, Iowa) and sophomore shortstop Bryan Lippincott (Des Moines, Iowa) each earned All-Region honors as the Rawlings/ABCA and the Daktronics All-Central Region Baseball Teams were announced today. Furrow earned First Team honors as a utility player by Daktronics and was a Second Team selection by the ABCA at first base where he earned All-NSIC First Team honors earlier this season. Furrow a Candidate for Inaugural Ping!Baseball DII Player of the Year Award
May. 10 - ST. PAUL, Minn. - Ping!Baseball has announced the creation of the Tino Martinez Division II Baseball Player of the Year Award for the 2010 season. The award will be presented annually to the top Division II baseball player in the country and is endorsed by the former Division II and Major League Baseball (MLB) star. Concordia senior Brenden Furrow (Johnston, Iowa) has been nominated and met the criteria for consideration for the award as a first baseman.
