Golden Bears Unable to Crack Michigan Tech
Sep. 02 - Houghton, Mich. ? The Concordia University?s soccer team was unable to put the ball in the back of the net despite having more shots on goal then the Michigan Tech Huskies. The Golden Bears fall to 0-1 on the season. It was the first win ever for the Huskies as 2010 marks the first year they have a women?s soccer program. CU was led offensively by Savannah Nolen who led the team with three shots on goal. In her first career start as keeper freshman Kayla Kuczaboski was able to stop three shots. Box Score
Golden Bear Soccer Ready to Hit the Pitch
Sep. 01 - SAINT PAUL, Minn. - The Concordia University soccer team is ready to start their season off on the right foot this Thursday, as they will travel to Houghton, Michigan to take on Michigan Tech. It is the first game for the newly formed Michigan Tech soccer team. It will be the first of two games in Michigan for the Bears in the opening week. On Saturday, CU will face off against Northern Michigan.
Concordia Soccer Picked 10th in NSIC Preseason Poll
Aug. 18 - BURNSVILLE, Minn. - The Concordia University soccer team was picked 10th of 14 in the 2010 NSIC Women's Soccer Preseason Coaches Poll as announced by league headquarters this morning. The Golden Bears add nine newcomers to the 2010 roster after graduating five seniors from the 2009 team.

Recruiting Class Grows For CU Soccer
May. 18 - ST. PAUL, Minn. - Heather Vander Vorste has become the eighth new recruit to commit to the Concordia University soccer team for 2010. A defender from Coon Rapids, Minn., Vander Vorste will help the Golden Bears build a powerful presence in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC). The NSIC is comprised of 14 NCAA Division II institutions in Minnesota, North and South Dakota, Iowa and Nebraska.
Smith Jumps On Board With Golden Bear Soccer

ST. PAUL, Minn. - Concordia University head soccer coach, Joe Alianiello, has announced that Kaylyn Smith has decided to become a Golden Bear. From DeKalb, Illinois, Smith becomes the seventh high school player to commit to Concordia University soccer.
"Kay is the epitome of the phrase diamond in the rough," said Alianiello of his newest CU recruit. "She possesses great vision on the ball and has the potential to be our featured playmaker for some time in the midfield."
